Sam joined the staff team in 2003 and currently serves as the Vice-Principal (Academic) of All Nations. He is the Programme Leader of the Undergraduate Programmes and teaches New Testament Studies and Greek. He is the author of The Samaritan Mission in Acts (Library of New Testament Studies no. 328, London: T&T Clark, 2006). Sam was born in Kerala, South India and is a third generation Pentecostal Christian. After graduating in Physics he pursued biblical studies and taught at various bible colleges and seminaries in India. He has extensive pastoral ministry experience in India and Britain. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God in Great Britain. Sam is passionate about preaching the gospel alongside his college teaching, and has a PhD from the University of Sheffield on the Samaritan mission in Acts 8.

David joined the staff at All Nations in September 2016. He previously taught Biblical Studies in Indonesia for over twenty years, with a special interest in the Old Testament. During that time, he was also involved in theological publishing, Bible translation, and church ministry. More recently he has been deputy warden at Tyndale House, Cambridge, and taught Old Testament at Trinity Theological College in Perth, Australia.

He has written four books in English: Two Testaments, One Bible: The Theological Relationship Between the Old and New Testaments (IVP, 3rd edition 2010), Tight Fists or Open Hands? Wealth and Poverty in Old Testament Law (Eerdmans, 2009), The Decalogue: Living as the People of God (IVP, 2017), and Getting to Grips with Biblical Hebrew: An Introductory Textbook (Langham, rev. edition 2022). David has also published articles in a variety of academic journals as well as several books and booklets in Indonesian.

Sue worked for over 14 years as an engineer and manager in the telecomms industry, before changing direction and re-training for a different kind of service. She has been a visiting lecturer at All Nations since 2005, teaching a range of subjects including Gender Studies, Contemporary Western Culture and Film. She is an ordained Baptist Minister, having served as Transitional Minister at Theydon Bois Baptist Church between 2009 and 2013, and worked with other churches during times of leadership transition, supporting them in the development of their vision for the future. She has also served on the World Mission task group of the Eastern Baptist Association, and the Ministry group of the Yorkshire Baptist Association. Her PhD thesis, based partly on field research in Uganda, is entitled: 'Power, Community and Justice: A Critical Analysis of the Lived Theologies of Gender in Integral Mission'.

Mette joined the team at All Nations in 2024 as Pastoral Care Tutor. She has served in mission together with her husband, Alex, in various contexts and capacities since 2009: She has been a lecturer in the Old Testament at Bronnum Lutheran Seminary, Yola, Nigeria (2009-2012); teacher in different in-service training programmes under the Anglican Church in Sierra Leone (2013-2016); and leading an international team developing digital theological training resources for oral-preference learners, based in Europe but with extensive travels to partner churches and networks (2016-2024).

Mette is an ordained pastor in the Lutheran Church and enjoys helping people grow in faith and knowledge of God, regardless of their denomination, nationality, or where they are on their journey with God.

Tim joined the All Nations team in 2020, having served for over ten years on the faculty of Redcliffe College as a Lecturer in Biblical Studies and Mission and, latterly, as Vice Principal.

He has two main areas of research: the missional interpretation of Scripture (especially the Old Testament), and vulnerable children in the Bible and the contemporary world. His PhD thesis on a missional reading of the book of Job has just been published by Wipf & Stock, and he has contributed chapters to two forthcoming books on missio Dei in a digital age and theological responses to the exploitation of children.

Tim was involved in helping to shape Forge Leadership’s research into Millennials and Leadership, and has also run a funded research project entitled, 'Meeting the Needs of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) in Gloucestershire: Enhancing the Response of the Local Church', which included establishing an educational mentoring scheme for young people. He has also worked with Ridley College in Melbourne as an online tutor and educational designer.

Tim has a background in student ministry, both in the UK and in Russia, and has also worked in marketing. He has been a member of Home for Good’s Council of Reference, and is Chair of Global Connections' Mission Educators Forum.

Richard joined the staff team in 2013, and enjoys inspiring and educating en route students for mission. His previous experience in mission involves: Administrator/Elder of City Temple International Church (URC) in Central London (7 Years); Pastor/Mission Liaison Worker/Bible School Teacher/Church Planter/Migrant Worker Ministry Developer with Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, Malaysia (8 Years); Short-term mission involvement in Myanmar, Bangladesh and Nigeria.

MA Thesis Title: “The Church in Nepalgunj, Nepal: A Journey from ‘Three-Self’ to ‘No Self’ to ‘New Self’? A Case Study.”

Jill started teaching at All Nations in 2002 and has a background in music, theatre and performing arts. Jill has experience in teaching, performing, conducting, directing and orchestral playing. Jill has been responsible for designing and delivering the creative arts modules in the All Nations curriculum at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has introduced a variety of creative projects and initiatives into the life of the college such as: Art Exhibitions, Multicultural Events, Carols at Easneye, Mosaic CD and Artist in Residence opportunities. Alongside her teaching Jill supervises and trains the Hearts for Mission Team who go into local churches to further encourage and mobilize the churches to engage creatively with mission and multicultural worship. Jill has short term mission experience in Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania. She has also worked in International Student Ministry and Refugee /Asylum Seeker charity work. Jill has a strategic global arts networking role with Arts Plus, supporting arts focused initiatives across Europe and beyond. Jill has a Doctorate in Worship Studies with the Robert Webber Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. The title of her Doctoral Thesis was: Worship Across the Cultures; Training For Liturgical Diversity: Implementing A Course For Students At All Nations Christian College UK.

Mark has been involved in cross-cultural mission and community development for the last 30 years. He lived and worked in East Africa (1991 - 94), where he grew up. In the year 2000, Mark completed his PhD in Agricultural Development at the University of Reading. He and his family served in Nepal, initially with the International Nepal Fellowship (INF) in a number of different programme focused roles and then in senior management. In 2007-8 Mark briefly taught Development Studies at All Nations as a missionary in residence before returning to Nepal to serve as Executive Director of the United Mission to Nepal (UMN) from 2009 to 2016. In September 2016 Mark returned to All Nations as a lecturer and tutor, heading up two of the major streams of the college; Poverty & Justice studies and Leadership. In March 2018 Mark became the All Nations Postgraduate Programme Leader.

He co-edited and  contributed to a book titled 'Undivided Witness' (2020) exploring the intersection and synergies of Community Development and Church planting among least reached groups.

Hannah joined All Nations in 2018 following 5 years of working in the charity sector. In her previous role at the Young Foundation, Hannah was championing anthropological research as a way to better understand people and communities in order to engage effectively and find appropriate, new ways of tackling major social challenges.

Hannah’s background is in human geography and international development. Hannah has spent time as an assistant tutor at UEA on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in social anthropology, gender, and anthropological research methods. Her PhD thesis used anthropological methods and theories to consider aspirations in rural Uganda and the ways that these are negotiated within a family and the wider community.

Hannah is a founding trustee of a small development charity, 'a little bit of HOPE' and has spent a year living in the Butaleja District of Uganda.

Dr Mak’s research and publications relate to Western interaction with the Muslim world and was previously a Research Fellow at the University of London. He has also been a consultant and adviser to European and East Asian organisations and professionals serving cross-culturally in many different countries. He is quadra-continental and multi-lingual, having spent significant years in East Asia, North America, North Africa and Europe. He enjoys teaching from God’s Word and encouraging Christians to grow in their love and understanding of their Muslim neighbours.

Kate has over 20 years experience as a professional librarian, originally in Hertfordshire public libraries. She was All Nations' Librarian from 2003 until 2015 and is now the Information and Learning Services Manager with oversight of our library, ICT, learning support and e-learning services. In December 2015 she completed her PhD on the use e-learning to deliver effective mission training. She is married to John, and both of them share a love for Serbia where they have been involved in short-term mission work for over 15 years. She enjoys being part of her church fellowship where she is a home group leader, member of the church worship group and missions co-ordinator.

Lynn originally hails from Singapore, and has worked with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 1999, being involved in discipleship training and leading short-term mission teams throughout Southeast Asia. Since 2009, she has been based in Scotland and England as an intercessory missionary, partnering with various prayer and worship ministries and working on various prayer projects around Europe. She has extensive experience in prayer and worship ministries, ranging from prophetic intercession for nations and strategic onsite prayer assignments, to training missionaries, leading worship and running contemplative prayer retreats.

Lynn walks closely with global prayer movements, such as Watchmen for the Nations, and continues to be part of various YWAM global networks, including the YWAM Refugee Circle Convenors and the YWAM Spiritual Direction Circle. She also trained as a spiritual director with SPIDIR in south London, and is a practising director with the Diocese of St Albans.

Dr Joshua Bogunjoko currently serves as the International Director of SIM. Joshua was born in Nigeria and attended an SIM established mission school where he came to faith in Christ.  He obtained a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in Pharmacology from the University of Port Harcourt and MBBS in Medicine and Surgery from the same University.  

He is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and consultant in Family Medicine. He has a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management (Organizational Leadership) from Briercrest Biblical Seminary in Saskatchewan, Canada. He was a leader in the evangelical student movement, the Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students throughout his University days and was the National President of the Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship during his service year. He felt the Lord’s call to missions in the University and committed his heart to serve the Lord cross–culturally. 

Joshua married Dr Joanna Bogunjoko in November 1993. After his residency at Evangel Jos (now Bingham University Teaching Hospital), they began their ministry as medical missionaries with EMS of ECWA and SIM at SIM Hospital, Galmi, in Niger Republic in 1995. 

After further studies in Canada, they returned to Galmi. Joshua took on leadership as Chief Medical Officer and then as Director of the hospital. In 2006 he was appointed SIM Deputy International Director for Europe and West Africa. In June 2013 he became the first non–westerner to lead SIM as its International Director. 

Joshua and Joanna are blessed with two children, Jochebed and Joel.

Rosie felt called into mission as a teenager, and in 1992 went for two years as a short termer with AEF to teach RE and English at a school in Zambia. She returned to England to do an MA in Aspects of Christian Missiology at All Nations Christian College, where she met her husband, Dan. In 1997 she joined Crosslinks, and went to Harare, Zimbabwe, where she taught OT and Greek at the Anglican Theological College, and was also the college librarian. Their two children were born in Harare. Leaving Zimbabwe at very short notice in 2002 they were visiting scholars at Redcliffe College for one year, and then went to teach at Uganda Christian University. There Rosie taught NT Greek, Old Testament and New Testament, ran a women students’ fellowship and was co-ordinator of a children’s library.

Returning to England in 2011, Rosie worked as a librarian and tutorial assistant for Westminster Theological Centre (WTC) and also for a school, before rejoining Redcliffe in 2014. There she taught Old Testament, Living and Working Across Cultures, and Greek, and then became the Course Facilitator and lecturer on the Member Care MA; she was also the college librarian for four years.

As well as her interests in mission and Africa, Rosie loves reading, art, nature and walking in the countryside with her black fluffy dog Frodo.

After completing a degree in Chemistry and spending a decade in I.T. in the City of London, Simon and his wife trained at All Nations Christian College and then joined Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Working with SIL in Ethiopia for 13 years they initiated a project to translate the New Testament into one of the local languages, before handing it over to Ethiopian leadership. Simon served as Country Director, establishing SIL Ethiopia as a registered NGO, and welcoming the first Wycliffe Africa members into the organisation. Simon again had the joy of handing on the directorship to one of the new Ethiopian members.

From 2008, Simon worked as Wycliffe Africa Area Associate Director, adding to the Wycliffe Africa membership list and continuing to encourage African church support for their new mission personnel.

Returning to the UK in 2010, Simon completed an Intercultural Leadership MA at Redcliffe College, and now lectures in leadership, while continuing to design and present leadership training material for SIL International and other agencies. He was welcomed to the staff team at All Nations in 2021.

Simon and his wife have two adult children and two grandchildren. When not doting on these new arrivals, they also love live-music, old cars, French holidays, and winter walks under the wide skies of Northumberland.

Jayakumar Christian is an expert in Christian faith based perspectives on development and author of numerous academic articles and books on poverty issues, including 'God of the Empty Handed'. Christian was formerly the national director and CEO of World Vision India, with responsibility over almost 2,000 aid workers serving 2.4 million children in the country.

Ian Collinge is an ethnodoxologist with WEC International and trains people in music and culture in various Christian institutions in the UK and abroad. Ian has experience as a musician, pastor, church planter, ethnomusicology trainer and ministry leader. He helped to produce worship and outreach resources for churches in Asia and for some years has been coaching musicians and developing resources for intercultural worship in the UK. He and his wife founded and lead WEC's arts ministry, called 'Arts Release' a collective of artists, musicians, and performing artists in several countries.

Before joining the staff team in 2013 Louisa worked for 7 years as the Elder/Administrator at City Temple International, a cross-cultural church in central London. Louisa also worked in Malaysia with International Students from over 30 countries during her role as a College Students’ Pastor with Full Gospel Tabernacle. She has also pastored a church plant with internationals, and was involved in migrant workers ministry.

Jill Garrett is Executive Director of Tentpeg Consulting; she is regarded as an authority on leadership development, team effectiveness, engagement, governance and the effective use of individual and organisational strengths. Jill’s work with leaders and senior teams has significantly helped to bring clarity of direction, renewed engagement and improved business results. Her passion is to improve organisational performance by enabling leaders to build cultures, strategies and processes which enable each person to be and do their best at work so as to benefit those the organisation exists to serve.

Jill has been in senior leadership roles for over thirty years, Previously Jill has been European Managing Director of the Gallup Organisation, Senior Account Manager, Customer Services Director, Director of Leadership Development, a Secondary School Head teacher. She has designed a number of recruitment and strengths based talent development tools. The Inspirational Leadership Tool, developed in partnership with the Government’s Innovation Group has been widely used to help Leaders to optimise and apply their innate leadership strengths. She has worked globally to help organisations to raise engagement and productivity.

Jill works closely with senior leaders across sectors with culture change, executive development and efficiency agendas and coaches CEO’s, Strategic Directors and their teams.

Margot is Director of Theology and Education for the John Ray Initiative, an educational charity with a vision to bring together scientific and Christian understandings of the environment in a way that can be widely communicated and lead to effective action. She is a church minister with a ministry that has focused on training new church leaders, growing teams for mission and ministry, and community engagement. She is a former Chaplain of Jesus College, Oxford.

Margot is a member of Grove Ethics Committee and is on the steering group of the Theological Colleges Environmental Network (TCEN). She is a former student of All Nations and looks to her training at ANCC as foundational for her ministry.

Margot became passionate about the environment and a committed Christian in her teens. Both these strands have interwoven in her ministry and personal life. She is married to Martin J Hodson, who is an environmental biologist. They have published a number of books together including A Christian Guide to Environmental Issues (Abingdon: BRF, 2021)

Dr Martin J Hodson is a plant scientist and environmental biologist, and a former Principal Lecturer, and now Visiting Researcher at Oxford Brookes University. He is also Associate Member of the Institute of Human Sciences at the University of Oxford. Martin is Principal Tutor of Christian Rural and Environmental Studies (CRES). The tour scientist for the Hope for Planet Earth tours, he writes and speaks widely on environmental issues. Martin has over 100 publications, mostly in international science journals. His books include A Functional Biology of Plants (with John Bryant, 2012), and Green Reflections: Biblical inspiration for sustainable living (with Margot Hodson, 2021).

Harvey is a Malawian mission theologian with over twenty years of mission and theological experience in Europe and the US, and is currently serving as the CEO of Global Connections.  He is closely involved in conversations around missional church in Britain and the United States, and non-Western missionary movements, especially those working in Europe and North America. His two books, Sent Forth: African Missionary Work in the West (Orbis, 2014), and Multicultural Kingdom (SCM, 2020) are part of his contribution to this conversation.

He obtained his PhD (2012, Luther Seminary, St Paul, Minnesota, USA) focused on the missiological (or theological) implications of the presence of African Christians in the United States. For his Masters (2007, University of Wales, United Kingdom), he wrote on congregational transformation for mission in Europe and North America. His current research interests include issues related to African Christianity in the diaspora, intercultural church, and mission theology in African perspectives. He founded and continues to be the general editor of Missio Africanus: The Journal of African Missiology.”
