We are less than an hour (just a little more than 20 miles) from Central London and about the same distance from the busy airports of Stansted and Luton - a great advantage to students coming from overseas.
How to find us
By Foot from St Margaret’s train Station, Stanstead Abbotts
Come out of the station and turn left. Go over the canal to the far end of the High Street, then left at the roundabout at the far end into Cappell Lane. Follow this road for about half a mile (0.8km) until you come to the All Nations Christian College entrance sign on the right hand side. Proceed up the driveway about half a mile (0.8km) until you reach the main house, Easneye, at the top just past the large car park. This journey is about 25 minutes, without luggage.

By Road
Stanstead Abbotts is accessible from the A10, just off of the M25 (Junction 25) and the A414 from Harlow.
From the M25/A10
Please note that if you need to cross the Thames at the Dartford crossing, this is a toll road that requires online payment.
Travelling clockwise - Take Junction 25 (A10 Cambridge/Enfield/Hertford) Follow the A10 northbound for approximately 7 miles. Take the turn off the A10 marked A414 Harlow/ Chelmsford/Ware (South), and follow A414 signs to large roundabout with several turnings off. At this roundabout, take the B181 to Stanstead Abbotts. Go straight through the village over the railway (passing St Margaret's station on your left) and then follow instructions above.
Travelling anti-clockwise - Take Junction 27 for the M11 North and follow the directions below.
From the M11
Exit at junction 7 (Harlow), follow the A414 for approximately 5 miles (8km) through Harlow, out the other side towards Hertford and then leave onto the B181 for Stanstead Abbotts. You will enter at the College end of the village at a roundabout, take the second exit into Cappell Lane and follow directions above.
From Dover/Channel Tunnel
About 2 hours (100 miles/ 160 km) from college, follow the A2 towards London, take the M2 until the M25, taking the M25 eastbound towards the M11 and the A10, and then follow instructions from the M25 exit 25, above. Please note that you will need to cross the Thames at the Dartford crossing, and this is a toll road that requires online payment.
From M1/A1 Either follow the directions around the M25 as above, or make your way across country to the A10 and follow the instructions as above. Make sure you take the correct turn off the A10 for the A414 - there are two! You want the Harlow one, not the one for Ware.
By Rail
The nearest train station to All Nations is St Margaret’s (Herts). Note: there are at least two other St Margaret’s stations in England, make sure that you travel to St Margaret’s station in Hertfordshire (also shown as “Herts.” NOT the St Margarets London one). The College is two miles from St Margaret’s station (see the map for directions). Taxis are available from St Margaret’s station if required.
From Liverpool Street Station in London, take the Hertford East mainline to St Margaret’s (Herts.) – This takes between 35-45 minutes and leave approximately every 30 minutes. Some trains from London will require you to change at Broxbourne.

By Air
Some airports are closer to All Nations, but do not have accessible public transport routes, which means you have to travel into London and then back out towards St Margaret’s train station. If someone can collect you by car, you could save time. Directions from St Margaret’s station to college are shown above.
Cheaper flights from Europe can be found on Easyjet or Ryanair for example, when booked well in advance, which come into Stansted, Luton and Gatwick airports.
From Stansted Airport (21 miles / 34km from college):
By train: Take the Stansted Express to Bishops Stortford, change there for Broxbourne and then change again for the Hertford East line to St Margaret’s (Herts). Directions from St Margaret’s station to college are shown above.
By coach: Take the 510 Arriva coach to Harlow. Then get the 410 Arriva coach to St Margaret’s station in Stanstead Abbotts. Alternatively, take the 724 bus from Harlow to Ware (Hertford Regional College bus stop). Take the 310 bus to Stanstead Abbotts, (St Margaret’s Church, Hoddesdon Road, Church Stop C). Turn right on foot and right again at the mini roundabout. You will then shortly come to St Margaret’s train station where you can follow the instructions above.
From Luton Airport (38 miles / 61km using motorways, only 25 miles / 40km via Wheathampstead):
Take a free bus from the airport to Luton Airport Parkway Station. Take a Thameslink train to St Albans. From the station take the 724 Green line coach to Ware (Hertford Regional college bus stop), and then take the 310 bus to Stanstead Abbotts, (St Margaret’s, Hoddesdon Road, Church Stop C). Turn right on foot and right again at the mini roundabout. You will then shortly come to St Margaret’s train station where you can follow the instructions above.
From Heathrow Airport (48 miles / 77km):
By Rail: Take the Piccadilly Line Underground to Holborn Station. Change to the Central Line, to Liverpool Street Station and then take a train to St Margaret’s station (see By Rail above), which will take about 2 hours). An alternative route is to take the Heathrow Express to London Paddington and the new underground line, the Elizabeth Line, to Liverpool Street Station and then take a train to St Margaret’s station (see by Rail above).
By Coach/bus: Take the 724 bus from Heathrow airport and get off at Ware. Ask for the Hertford Regional College bus stop in Ware. Take the 310 bus to Stanstead Abbotts, (St Margaret’s, Hoddesdon Road, Church Stop C). Turn right on foot and right again at the mini roundabout. You will then shortly come to St Margaret’s train station where you can follow the instructions above.
From Gatwick Airport (70 miles /112km):
Take the Gatwick Express train to London Victoria. From here you can take the Circle Line Underground to Liverpool Street and then take a train to St Margaret’s station (see By Rail above), which will take about 2 hours.
Bus/coach travel: Not all bus/coach services run on a Sunday and there may be fewer buses than on weekdays and Saturdays.
