Directions

From St Margaret’s Train Station, Stanstead Abbotts

Come out of the station and turn left, going over the canal to the far end of the High Street. Turn left at the roundabout by the Red Lion (you should pass Cappell Lane).  Follow this road for about ½ mile (0.8km) passing the church (on your right) and vets (on your left),  until you come to drive signed posted All Nations.  The drive is about ½ mile (0.8km) long uphill until you reach the main house, Easneye, at the top of the drive with the large car park.  You must then follow the signs which say Reception.  The walk will take you about 25 minutes from the station without luggage.

The village taxi service number is 01920 871877
Please see map below for extra help with directions to the college.

By Road

From the M25/A10

Travelling clockwise - Take Junction 25 (A10 Cambridge/Enfield/Hertford) Follow the A10 northbound for approximately 7 miles. Take the turn off the A10 marked A414 Harlow/ Chelmsford/Ware (South), and follow A414 signs to large roundabout with several turnings off. At this roundabout, take the B181 to Stanstead Abbotts. Go straight through the village over the railway (passing St Margaret's station on your left) and then follow instructions above.

Please note that if you need to cross the Thames at the Dartford crossing, this is a toll road that requires online payment.  For more information see www.gov.uk/pay-dartford-crossing-charge

Travelling anti-clockwise - Take Junction 27 for the M11 North and follow the directions below.

From the M11

Exit at junction 7 (Harlow), follow the A414 for approximately 5 miles (8km) through Harlow, out the other side towards Hertford and then leave onto the B181 for Stanstead Abbotts. You will enter at the College end of the village at a roundabout, take the second exit into Cappell Lane and follow directions above.

From Dover/Channel Tunnel

About 2 hours (100 miles/ 160 km) from college, follow the A2 towards London, take the M2 until the M25, taking the M25 eastbound towards the M11 and the A10, and then follow instructions from the M25 exit 25, above.  Please note that you will need to cross the Thames at the Dartford crossing, and this is a toll road that requires online payment.  For more information see www.gov.uk/pay-dartford-crossing-charge

From M1/A1

Either follow the directions around the M25 as above, or make your way across country to the A10 and follow the instructions as above. Make sure you take the correct turn off the A10 for the A414 - there are two! You want the Harlow one, not the one for Ware.
